How to get involved

Supporting others
There are many opportunities to serve in the church from welcoming and stewarding at services, to reading in services, to practical care of the buildings. There are also ministry opportunities when people have settled into the church family and when we have had an opportunity to look at gifts and opportunities.

South Room Community Hub

The South Room Community Hub is open from 10 am to 12 noon on Tuesdays and Fridays. We aim to offer help and hope to all who visit.  We help with job searches, benefit and housing applications, and we signpost support to other specialist charities. We also offer free tea, coffee and biscuits to those who drop in to chat.  If you are part of the church and would like to explore the possibly of helping, either with providing support or with making refreshments and chatting, please contact David Nancarrow at  southroomchristchurch@gmail.com

Christ Church Larder

The South Room is also open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10.00am-12.00noon for anyone in urgent need of food.  We can provide a few days dry and tinned goods if you are struggling to feed yourself or your family.  If you are part of the church and would like to explore the possibly of helping please contact 07502 914375.
