Charities
We support three Christian charities through direct giving and through various events.
Church Army Africa
A Christian group supporting mission work. We are involved specifically in a church planting initiative in one of the slums of Nairobi, Kenya, with a school in central Nairobi and development of a maternity unit.
The Bible Society
The Bible Society is a Christian charity on a mission to offer the Bible to the world. Its aim is to make the Bible available and accessible to everyone. The Bible Society has its roots in Wales. It was in Wales that Mary Jones walked to buy a Bible in her own language from Revd Thomas Charles. The Bible Society translates the Bible and makes it accessible in people's heart languages. They bring it into public spaces where its voice can be heard. They tell its stories and encourage people who've never thought the Bible was for them to explore it for themselves.
Open Doors
Every day, millions of Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief and helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term. In the UK and Ireland, Open Doors helps the church to pray, give and speak out for those who share our faith but not our freedom.
